Universal Studios Hollywood has a variety of events and promotions, including: 

• Seasonal celebrations

  The park hosts seasonal celebrations like Halloween Horror Nights and Grinchmas. In 2024, Halloween Horror Nights will take place on select nights from September 5 to November 3. 

• Group events

  Universal Studios Hollywood offers special savings for groups of 10 or more, including family reunions, clubs, employee groups, and religious groups. 

• Youth programs

  Universal Studios Hollywood offers educational programs that provide an interactive, behind-the-scenes experience for students. 

• Pass member perks

  Universal Studios Hollywood offers pass members exclusive events, giveaways, food and drink items, ticket discounts, and more. 

• Active military discounts

  Universal Studios Hollywood offers discounts to active military.

• The California Neighbor Pass allows visitors to choose their first day and then return to the park for over 175 days within nine months. The pass costs $149 when purchased online. However, reservations may be limited and may close within 48 hours of the visit date. Reservations cannot be rescheduled or reset until the reserved date has passed.

• Universal sometimes offers one- or two-day discount tickets for residents on their website.

• Some Costco stores in Southern California and Costco.com may offer discounted tickets from time to time

• ​The Southern California CityPASS includes discount admission tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood.
